St Helen’s Church, Amotherby
There will be a family service at St Helen’s Church, Amotherby on Sunday 22nd September at 10.30am. The service will be led by Canon Bill Ankers. Mr. Jonathan Piercy, organist. Please come and join in or simply sit and enjoy the words and music. Join us for refreshments after the service. All very warmly welcome.
What did the Victorians do for you ? St Helen’s Church, Amotherby
St Helen’s Church is hosting a Yorkshire Historic Churches Trust (YHCT) open day event on Saturday 14th September between 10.00 am and 11.30 am. Entry free.
Dr Dav Smith from York University will be giving a talk at St Helen’s on the Victorian building work that was carried out by the Rev’d Peach in 1872. Dav did his PHD on the Victorian aspects of Churches in The Street Benefice so he is very knowledgeable on the subject. The talk will last around 20 minutes then Dav will be available to take questions.
The team at St Helen’s will be offering tea/coffee and freshly baked scones and biscuits. Please join them. All welcome.

All Saints’ Church, Appleton-le-Street
There will be a Eucharist/Family service at All Saints’ Church, Appleton-le-Street on Sunday 14th July at 9am. The service will be led by Canon Bill Ankers, Organist Mr Jonathan Piercy. Come and join us – everyone very welcome.

Remembrance Service at the War Memorial, St Helen’s Churchyard, Amotherby.
As St Helen’s Church is temporarily closed for essential restoration works, our Remembrance Service this year will be held at the War Memorial in St Helen’s Churchyard at 10.45am on 12 November. The service is led by Canon Bill Ankers.
Please come and join us to remember those who so bravely served and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
