Unfortunately, due to illness, Messy Church at The Parish Hall, Amotherby this Saturday has been cancelled.

Christingle Service at St Helen’s Church, Amotherby

There will be a Christingle Service at St Helen’s Church, Amotherby at 4.00 pm on Tuesday 24 December, lay led, with organist Jonathan Piercy.  Refreshments will be served after the Service.  All welcome.

Eucharist Service at St Helen’s Church, Amotherby

There will be a Eucharist Service at St Helen’s Church, Amotherby at 10.30 am on Sunday 22 December, led by Canon S Wright, with organist Jonathan Piercy. The Service will be followed by tea and coffee. All welcome.

Carols by Candlelight at St Helen’s Church, Amotherby

Christmas Carols by Candlelight will take place at St Helen’s Church, Amotherby on Sunday 15th December at 3:00pm. Everyone welcome.

Message from St. Helen’s Church, Amotherby following the Christmas Appeal for Ukraine

Following the recent appeal, two car loads of clothing, toys, nappies, toiletries and shoe box gifts for children were taken along to Jacob’s Well in Beverley.

There will be a shipment to Ukraine during early December, so the donations will arrive there before Christmas.

Thank you to everyone for making the appeal such a success.

The Annual Remembrance Service will take place at the War Memorial in St Helen’s Churchyard, Amotherby on Sunday 10th November at 10:45am when the names of the fallen from Broughton, Swinton, Appleton and Amotherby will be called. Please come and join us. All welcome. Refreshments will be available after the service.
